Join us this December for our SHINE Together Christmas Fayre, a community event in partnership with Washington Mind and Fans Museum Sunderland, bringing people together this festive season.

Browse Christmas stalls, pick up thoughtful gifts, enjoy seasonal refreshments and take part in family-friendly activities. There will be carol singing and a festive light switch on, illuminating a Christmas tree with our Stars of Hope. Whether you're catching up with loved ones or simply looking for a reason to get out and enjoy the season, everyone is welcome.

Stars of Hope

As part of this year's celebration, we're inviting everyone to dedicate a Star of Hope.

You might choose to recognise someone who has made a difference in your life, thank a team for their support, celebrate a friendship, or remember someone who will be in your thoughts this Christmas.

Your personalised message will be laser-cut into a wooden star and displayed on our Christmas tree at Hopewood Park during the event and throughout the festive season. In January, your star will be carefully removed and posted to you as a special keepsake.

Together, these stars will create a powerful display of gratitude, kindness and hope from our community.

Stars are £5 each and every star purchased supports the SHINE Fund, helping us continue to support our patients and carers when they need it most.
